Who we are
A community organisation rooted in dignity and care
Yellow Heart SA is a registered non-profit organisation dedicated to providing for mothers and newborns in need with baby and mom-to-be essential items. We stand alongside families during one of life's most vulnerable seasons, offering practical support delivered with respect.
From our base in Roodepoort and across Gauteng, we collect, pack, and distribute essentials to families who would otherwise go without. We gladly accept new and gently used donations, and work with volunteers, schools, and community partners to reach mothers and babies who need support most.
What we do
Essentials that make a difference
We collect and distribute the everyday items that new mothers and infants cannot do without.
Baby essentials
Clothing for 0–24 months, blankets, swaddlers, sleep sacks, nappies, wipes, bum cream, soap, and face cloths.
Mother & maternity care
Maternity sanitary pads, breast pads, nappy bags, linen savers, and other postnatal essentials for moms-to-be and new mothers.
Feeding & community support
Bottles, sippy cups, and carefully packed bundles — assembled by volunteers and delivered to families across our community.

We welcome donations of new or preloved (gently used) items. Drop-offs are available in Bryanston, Linden, Horizon Roodepoort, and Port Elizabeth — contact us for exact addresses or to arrange a larger collection.
